Stickers and ArtArt has always been a bit of a tricky thing for me. I don't ever think my art is bad, I just have high standards. This has proven to be a major issue when it comes to Take Stock and it's current state in development. I've been trying to work up to a state of a smaller demo to get some basic feedback on the whole thing as well as get things visually up to par to update the Steam page. Most of the major gameplay aspects of code are all there, it's all fun and enjoyable to play. The big issue is I just really can't bring myself to make art assets for it, it's almost painful. I need to make a new logo, item icons, and all the art for a complete revamp of the market trading window. All of these are aspects that are completely art based with very little to do with coding, which is why development has been so slow. It feels almost painful every time I bring out the drawing tablet to make something only for me to not be happy with it and scrap it. It's perfectionist behavior, but I don't feel like I am one, and I haven't really known what to do because of it. On the brighter side of art, when I'm doing what I feel like when I feel like it, it tends to turn out better. For example, these stickers I made! I got a lot of inspiration from Zagawee (creator of Garbanzo Quest) to make them! They sell stickers of a bunch of game characters on their website, and it got me interested to learn how to make my own! So I asked them about it and they were super nice to point me in the right direction! Ultimately, I decided to print them on a printer than laminate and cut them by hand, since it's just a hobby thing, but the first attempt ended up turning out really nice!
While not something I'm thinking about too much right now, the idea of selling them seems pretty nice, especially considering I don't really have an income right now. So if you're interested in purchasing Animoun Stickers, let me know! That's all I got for now, thanks for reading, feel free to discuss with me anything I've talked about on one of my socials! I'd love to hear from you! Take care -Animoun |

First Blog PostHeya, here's the first blog post on the site! Probably going to be dated before the site properly goes up. The site needs at least one blog post to go up to make sure the thing isn't completely empty, so here we are. I'll just talk a little bit about what I've been doing recently The new Tomodachi Life game has pretty much completely eaten most of my time, and I can't really help it! It's just so fun and entertaining to me. I've been playing Tomodachi Life since around the time it came out so I was super excited to play the new entry. I'm currently without a physical Switch so I ended up buying a cartridge ripper to rip a physical copy I bought to play on my computer and Steam Deck. Aside from the occasional crash and lack of grass, it runs really well!
I've also been listening to a lot of vaporwave by desert sands feel warm at night, It's just the perfect stuff for working, since I don't want to sit in complete silence, but too much talking gets me extremely distracted. sparkling water and New World Disciples are probably my favorites, might try to snag a vinyl of the latter at some point. That's pretty much all I really wanna talk about for now, hope you enjoy the new site whenever it goes online. And here's to more blogs! |
